Both boards had the original BIOS version, But it’s an entirely different board from yours, so Jul 1, Posts: If the chipset can only address 4 GB of RAM not unusual for desktop boards up until very recentlythen it’s not going to be able to remap any memory above 4 GB.
Are you using the onboard video?

There is a “System Information” area in there.

That’s 32 bit Windows and 64 bit Windows both. Asus has a feature on their motherboards – well, newer ones at least – in the BIOS, labeled something like “memory remap.
Nov 10, Posts: The video should probably be allocating. If it’s turned on, it’s allocating at least some system RAM.
Does the board only support 3GiB memory? Feb 24, Posts: Start disabling unnecessary on-board stuff and turn down the amount of video RAM allocated.
