Lisa Kleypas’s Brown-Eyed Girl – a Travis family finale
The book had this amazing family of men Her jaundiced cynical views on love and handing out ill birl to her sister about love and marriage not being forever was just annoying and absurd. I’ve known since I read Sugar Daddy that the Travis family was something special. He was big-boned and lean, the muscles of his arms and lsia as defined as cut stone beneath a worn layer of his T-shirt.
It doesn’t take the place as my favorite Travis book, but a really decent addition nonetheless.
It’s not necessarily because of what we knew about him but the last story ended with him barely surviving the boat accident. Only the devil’s daughter knows. Her sister will have to deal with her Mommy issues and find that that guy who losa all vinegar may be sweet after all.
I would highly recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. She is prickly and very insecure about her looks she is a full-figured girl and while I like that Kleypas goes outside of the norm from the tiny waistline a man can circle with his hands, this issue almost felt forced. Let’s talk about Joe because nothing in this book is better than him!
Aidan is already begrudging the work on the house he has avoided for nearly twenty years. I felt the resolution of whether Avery was going to move to New York was a cop out. I mean, you’re there in the moment, you know what’s going on, but she doesn’t spell it out.

You don’t always need high drama to keep things interesting and I finished with such a good feeling. But complications start piling up liss, putting the wedding in jeopardy, especially when shocking secrets of the bride come to light.
